PACKAGES
FOR THE BOYS.- We have frequent opportunities of sending packages to
our troops atAlton. If the friends in other towns wish to furnish
their boys with ny article of comfort, they dan leve them at this
office aned we will forward them at the first opportunity. We epect
to go down in about two weeks, and shall be glad to take a bed
blanket, a pillow and other lusuries
to the boys. Send them in.

HAVELOCK CAPS.- Captain Joslyn says, in plain English, that it is awful hot at Cairo. Shall we not send the boys the Havelock cap as a shield against the sun. What say our ladies?
